Who are we, 'SDA Homes'?

SDA Homes serves as the intermediary between investors/property developers and local providers. Our mission is to facilitate collaboration between these two sides to achieve their respective goals:

  • Investors/Property Developers: We ensure a guaranteed rental return on their investment.
  • Providers: We help them secure homes suitable for their participants’ needs.

 

Our role is to bridge the gap and make it a win-win situation for all parties involved.

Our uniqueness lies in our commitment to small and medium-sized providers. We offer purpose-built homes tailored to their participants’ needs, all without competing for or losing their clients to other providers. This aligns with the latest NDIS recommendations from October 2023, emphasizing the importance of customized housing solutions. Our focus is on helping providers meet these standards while safeguarding their client relationships.

Absolutely, we can help. We prefer to get involved at the project’s outset, allowing us to assist you in locating providers early in the process. This enables providers to prepare participants, keeping them informed with updates and visuals. Moreover, it allows providers to start advertising and engaging additional participants who will move into your dwellings upon completion and obtaining the Occupancy Certificate (OC). We will also list the home on our website, providing a platform for providers to begin their engagement process seamlessly. We aim to streamline the process and ensure a smooth transition for all parties involved.

We act as a headlease between investors/developers and providers, ensuring ongoing compliance and home maintenance. Our revenue comes from a percentage-based fee for our services, similar to the fees charged by property managers in the real estate industry.
